Positron Emission Tomography (PET)

PET imaging adds a new dimension and sensitivity to your cancer testing. While CT scans show structural details of the body in cross sections, PET images can detect the difference between diseased and healthy tissues, based on the particles they emit. This allows physicians to precisely locate a tumor and know how the tumor is responding to treatment.

Our mobile unit offers a full range of PET imaging procedures.

Ultrasound

Ultrasound uses high frequency sound waves to create cross-sectional images of soft tissue organs. Ultrasound tests don’t use radiation.

Sonographers are specially trained technologists. They use ultrasound to produce images of these and other areas of the body:

  • Abdomen
  • Breast
  • Pelvis
  • Pregnant uterus
  • Testicles
  • Thyroid
  • Veins in the arms and legs
