Hand & Wrist

Care for a range of hand and wrist conditions

Hand and Wrist Care at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital–Plymouth

Hand and wrist pain or injury can slow you down. At BID Plymouth, we have orthopedic providers who specialize in treating hand and wrist conditions. They can help get you back to living your life.

Non-Surgical Care

Before recommending surgery, we can help you explore other treatment options first. These include physical therapy, medication or at home treatments like RICE (Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation).

We will also provide resources to help manage your care and recovery after joint replacement surgery.

Surgical Care

In most cases, a hand or wrist injury can be treated with medication or physical therapy. In severe cases, surgery may be needed. At BID Plymouth, our orthopedic hand surgeons are experts in minimally invasive surgical procedures. These procedures help speed your recovery and restore your hand's function.

Our surgeons also participate in the New England Baptist Orthopedic (NEBO) program to help improve your care.
