Local chapters of the American Cancer Society sponsor the programs listed below. To learn more call 1-800-ACS-2345, or visit the American Cancer Society's website. Programs include:

Combining the Look Good...Feel Better and Reach to Recovery programs, the Pink Tea helps women to overcome the appearance-related side effects associated with cancer treatment. Trained volunteers offer guidance and instruction to women in a supportive environment, helping them regain their confidence and self-esteem. After the makeover portion of the program, Reach to Recovery volunteers (women who have been through the breast cancer experience) provide information and support to the attendees.

Held at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital–Plymouth Club Cancer Center, the group meets on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Located in Hanover, The Wellness Community offers support programs for patients including Tai, Chi, Art Exploration, Reiki and other groups and services.

Created by, and for cancer survivors and their families to connect with others who have been touched by cancer. People in this virtual community share experiences, strength, and hope using the free, interactive service on the web.
