Suicide Attempt Survivors

Resources and coping strategies for the future

Healing After a Suicide Attempt

The time after a suicide attempt can be confusing and filled with conflicting emotions. Many attempt survivors feel shame, guilt or anger. Attempt survivors often find it difficult to reach out for support, but we’re here to help.

Talking with others with similar experiences can be an essential part of healing. A Second Chance offers a safe place, free of judgment, for you to talk about the feelings that led you to attempt suicide. We’ll discuss the impact it has on your life. You’ll also learn about resources and coping strategies for a brighter future.

You must be at least 18 years of age to join our suicide support group. A phone call with an advisor will help us learn more about each other. This helps determine if the group could be a good fit for you.

Our group meets at Hope Floats Healing & Wellness Center in Kingston. It is free of charge. For dates, times and to register, please call 781-936-8068.
