Upcoming Community Forum
You’re Invited to BID-Plymouth’s Community Health Forum
As a non-profit, every three years, the Massachusetts Attorney General asks hospitals to conduct a Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) and to then develop a Community Health Implementation Plan (CHIP) to address those needs.
Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital- Plymouth (BID-Plymouth) recently completed its CHNA by surveying more than 1,000 residents from Plymouth, Kingston, Carver, and Duxbury, to gain their insight on what they believe to be the unmet health needs in their communities. The findings of the health needs assessment were shared with the hospital’s senior leadership, a subcommittee of the Board, and the Community Benefits Advisory Council, consisting of members from key organizations in the community.
Together, they developed a CHIP to guide the development of programs to meet the unmet health needs of the community.
We invite you to join us as we present a draft of BID-Plymouth’s CHIP. This is a special opportunity where you will have the chance to ask questions and to provide any feedback about the programs presented to the community.
