New Plastic Reconstructive Surgeon Edward W. Malin, MD, FACS, Joins Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and Vein Center

Dr. Edward Malin brings over 15 years of surgical experience to the Plymouth area. He is board certified in General Surgery and Plastic Surgery after completing residencies at Inova Fairfax Hospital and the Combined Harvard University Plastic Surgery program, respectively.
He finished a burn/critical care fellowship at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, TX, and continued his practice in plastic surgery at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, rising to the rank of lieutenant colonel. Additionally, he deployed as a trauma surgeon to Iraq where he cared for our nation’s soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He received his medical degree from The George Washington University School of Medicine, and he completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Notre Dame.
“I am thrilled to join the BID-Plymouth team”, said Dr. Malin. “I’m looking forward to taking care of the plastic and reconstructive surgical needs of our patients!”
As Dr. Malin has a wealth of experience in plastic and reconstructive surgery, he has particular interest in:
- breast cancer reconstruction
- soft tissue oncologic reconstruction
- complex wound reconstruction
- breast surgery (breast reduction, augmentation and lift)
- body contouring procedures, especially after weight loss
- liposuction
- facial rejuvenation procedures
- septo-rhinoplasties
Dr. Malin is welcoming new patients. His office is located at 46 Obery Street on the campus of the hospital.
