Plymouth Resident Named Chair of Board of Directors
Lyle Bazzinotti of Plymouth named new chair of the hospitals’ Board of Directors

Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Plymouth is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Lyle Lawrence Bazzinotti as Chair of the Board of Directors. She replaces Clark Hinkley as Chair after his term ended earlier this year. Lyle has served on the hospital’s Board of Directors since 1990.

“BID-Plymouth is a strong organization with a deep commitment to the communities and patients it serves,” says Lyle Bazzinotti, Chair, Board of Directors. “I’m looking forward to working with the hospital, and community, to ensure that our patients continue to receive outstanding care and to help the hospital grow to best meet the future needs of those we serve. And, our affiliation with Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and its growing network assures our patients additional access to high quality specialty care when needed,” adds Bazzinotti.

Bazzinotti becomes Chair during an exciting time for Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Plymouth. Recently, the hospital received national recognition with a patient safety A-Rating from the Leapfrog Group for the third year in a row and the Top Hospital Award for the second year in a row. Also, the hospital received a four-star quality rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.

“Lyle has a strong vision for BID-Plymouth and I look forward to working with her to further strengthen the hospital’s positive reputation in the community,” says BID-Plymouth President & CEO Kevin Coughlin.
