Internationally-renowned Cancer and Breast Surgeon Joins Jordan Hospital
Jordan Hospital is pleased to announce that internationally-renowned cancer and breast surgeon Marvin J. Lopez, MD, FACS, has joined the surgical staff at Jordan Hospital’s Cancer Center and Breast Center. Most recently, Dr. Lopez served as the Chair of Surgery at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Brighton, MA, and is a professor of surgery at Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, MA.
Dr. Lopez is board-certified and specializes in general surgical oncology and breast surgery. He offers patients comprehensive, state-of-the-art cancer care including diagnosis, treatment, and support services for breast, thyroid, melanoma, sarcomas, and gastrointestinal cancers.

In additional to Dr. Lopez’s surgical skill, he has authored more than 100 publications on breast cancer and exenterative pelvic surgery and has given more than 250 presentations nationally and internationally. Dr. Lopez is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Surveyor for the Commission on Cancer, and is a Fellow with the Society of Surgical Oncology.
