Meet the Senior Staff

The administration of the hospital is comprised of the president and chief executive officer, the vice president of finance and treasurer, the vice president of clinical and support services, the vice president of patient care services, the vice president of strategic planning and business development, and the vice president of philanthropy.

Peter J. Holden, President and Chief Executive Officer
Peter Holden has served as president & CEO of BID-Plymouth, formerly Jordan Hospital, since 2007. During his tenure he lead the transition of Jordan Hospital to BID-Plymouth—part of the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center health system—and continues to foster strong relationships with the community, expanding current programs, and transforming the hospital into a regional provider of care. Peter is passionate about the how hospitals and healthcare providers can help those struggling with behavioral health and substance abuse issues. In addition to his role at BID-Plymouth, Peter is chair of the Massachusetts Hospital Association (MHA) and co-chair of the MHA’s Substance Abuse Prevention & Treatment Task Force.

Prior to joining BID-Plymouth, Peter served as president at other large-scale hospitals and health systems such as Good Samaritan Hospital in Massachusetts, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital in Ohio, and various hospitals in New York.



Donna Doherty, RN, Vice President of Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer
Donna Doherty joined BID-Plymouth in January of 2009. Previously, she held the position of Interim Vice President, Patient Care Services/CNO at Caritas Norwood Hospital. After completing her BSN at Southeastern Massachusetts University, Doherty began her nursing practice as a labor and delivery nurse. Her experience includes positions as a supplies representative; clinical software applications specialist; a nurse manager; administrative director for an emergency department, and an assistant vice president for nursing.


Jason Radzevich, Chief Financial Officer 
Jason Radzevich brings more than 17 years of financial experience to BID-Plymouth, most recently serving as the Chief Financial Officer for BID-Milton. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Merrimack College in North Andover, MA and his Masters of Business Administration from Curry College in Milton, MA. He is a Certified Public Accountant and was formerly employed by Boston Medical Center, in addition to several public accounting firms including KPMG.


Lisa Berry Barbosa, Vice President of Human Resources  
Lisa Berry Barbosa joined BID-Plymouth in September 2014.Previously, she was Director of Human Resources at Saint Anne’s Hospital Steward Healthcare System. Lisa brings to BID-Plymouth more than 20 years of Human Resources management experience and organizational development. Prior to her tenure at Saint Anne’s, Lisa was Director of Organizational Development and Diversity Programs at Foxwoods Resort Casino where she focused on talent management, training and organizational behavior using various organizational development principles, methods and tools to provide a wide range of customized business solutions. Lisa was honorably discharged from the United States Army Reserves as a Medical Specialist, LPN. Lisa received an M.S. degree from Johnson & Wales University and is currently pursuing a doctoral degree at Boston University.


Kevin Coughlin, Senior Vice President of System Development
Kevin Coughlin joined BID-Plymouth in September 2014. Previously, he was a Senior Vice President at Elliot Health System in Manchester, New Hampshire. During his tenure at Elliot Health System, Kevin was responsible for strategic planning and operations of the Elliot Physician Network and Ambulatory Services. From 2006-2010, Kevin was the Chief Operating Officer for the Boston Medical Center Faculty Practice Foundation where he had oversight of all business and ambulatory operations. He also worked in various administrative positions for 10 years at Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston.


Andrea Holleran, Vice President of External Affairs
Andrea Holleran joined BID-Plymouth in 1992 as Director of Financial Planning. In 1996, she assumed the position of Vice President of Strategic Planning and Business Development and then Vice President of External Affairs in 2011. Ms. Holleran received a B.S. degree from Stonehill College and an M.B.A. degree from Anna Maria College, both in Massachusetts. Prior to assuming her position, Ms. Holleran held positions in finance and project management at Brockton Hospital and South Shore Hospital. She is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association, and American Hospital Association’s Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development.


Cynthia Outhouse, Vice President of Philanthropy
Cynthia Outhouse joined BID-Plymouth in September 2001.  Prior to assuming her current position, Ms. Outhouse served as Executive Director of the Health care Foundation for Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis and Vice President of Philanthropy at Tobey Hospital in Wareham, MA.  Ms. Outhouse holds a Master’s degree in Communications Management from Simmons College in Boston.  She serves on the Board of Directors of the New England Association of Healthcare Philanthropy and is a member of the Association for Fundraising Professionals and the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy.


Ron Rutherford, RN, Vice President and Chief Information Officer
Ron Rutherford joined BID-Plymouth in December 2010 as Director of Information Services. In August 2013, Ron assumed the role of Vice President & Chief Information Officer. Previously, he was Director of Informatics & Applications at Huntington Hospital, in Southern California. Prior to his career in Healthcare Information Technology Ron spent 15 years as a practicing Registered Nurse specializing in adult care, medical-surgical care, and critical care at Citrus Valley Health Partners also in Southern California.
