Cranberry Hospice Seeks Volunteers - Archived

Cranberry Hospice, a non-profit organization, has been providing support for people with a life-limiting illness for over 35 years.

Cranberry Hospice will begin a nine-session volunteer training in September. Volunteers help by providing companionship and support to patients and their families, vigil visits at the time of death, and to help with day-to-day activities such as running errands and providing local transportation. Also, some volunteers may help with clerical tasks or fundraising activities in the Hospice office.

In addition, Cranberry Hospice is also seeking:

Veteran volunteers to support our Veteran’s Program

The program places a veteran volunteer with our veteran patients

Pediatric Palliative Care Program, “Fragile Footprints”

In need of volunteers for this special calling Our team and families rely on the dedication and commitment of its volunteers to provide the extra care and open hearts that they bring to our patients and families. Cranberry Hospice provides training to all volunteers. The next training session begins:

START DATE: Monday, September 11 (runs for nine Mondays)

TIME: 6:00 – 8:30 pm
