BID-Plymouth Names SVP of System Development, VP of Human Resources
Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Plymouth (BID-Plymouth) announced that it has named Kevin Coughlin as Senior Vice President of System Development and Lisa Berry Barbosa as Vice President of Human Resources.
“BID-Plymouth is fortunate to add Kevin Coughlin and Lisa Berry Barbosa to the hospital’s senior leadership team,” says BID-Plymouth president and CEO Peter Holden. “Both are well-respected professionals and we look forward to their leadership and contributions to our patients, their families, employees, physicians and volunteers.”
Coughlin brings more than 15 years of experience managing health systems and physician networks. Previously, he was a Senior Vice President at Elliot Health System in Manchester, New Hampshire. During his tenure at Elliot Health System, Kevin was responsible for strategic planning and operations of the Elliot Physician Network and Ambulatory Services. From 2006-2010, Kevin was the Chief Operating Officer for the Boston Medical Center Faculty Practice Foundation where he had oversight of all business and ambulatory operations. He also worked in various administrative positions for 10 years at Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston.
Berry Barbosa brings more than 20 years of human resources management and organization development experience to the hospital. Previously, she was Director of Human Resources at Saint Anne’s Hospital Steward Healthcare System. Prior to her tenure at Saint Anne’s, Berry Barbosa was Director of Organizational Development and Diversity Programs at Foxwoods Resort Casino where she focused on talent management, training and organizational behavior using various organizational development principles, methods and tools to provide a wide range of customized business solutions. She was honorably discharged from the United States Army Reserves as a Medical Specialist, LPN. Berry Barbosa received an M.S. degree from Johnson & Wales University and is currently pursuing a doctoral degree at Boston University.
