Why We Partner. . .

For me, partnering with Beth Israel Deaconess - Plymouth makes perfect sense. I know the Hospital very well. Both my children, Sophia and Tino, were born there, and three generations of my family have received our care there. As a former Board member, I can say with confidence that Beth Israel Deaconess - Plymouth is truly a first-rate facility, right here close to home.

As you think about how best to give back to our community, please join me in supporting Beth Israel Deaconess - Plymouth. Your gift will be an investment that benefits your family, your business, and the health and wellnes of all our friends and neighbors."

Beth Israel Deaconess - Plymouth is essential to our community's vitality, for its superlative care, and the role it plays as a major employer, source of leadership, and a draw for new residents."

I learned first hand about the value of Beth Israel Deaconess - Plymouth when both my parents were recently diagnosed with lung cancer. Our family faced many challenges, but one thing we didn't have to worry about was driving all the way to Boston for the highest quality care—which we sometimes needed on a daily basis. I’ll forever be grateful to Dr. Hochstin, his team at the Beth Israel Deaconess - Plymouth Cancer Center, and the numerous other departments that provided care. Please join me in supporting this exceptional nonprofit institution. As a business leader, you can make a monetary or in-kind contribution that truly impacts your family, your employees, and your community."

The foundation of a strong community requires solid partnerships between the people, businesses, schools and its hospital. The Patel family has been a part of this community for 30 years. In particular, we have deep roots with Beth Israel Deaconess - Plymouth, where my father Sam Patel also served on the Board and was cared for on several occasions. As such, the Patel Family and the Comfort Inn of Plymouth are proud supporters of Beth Israel Deaconess - Plymouth.

We invite you as an individual, or a business, to join us in that support. Your contribution will help ensure Beth Israel Deaconess - Plymouth is there when we need it, continuing to provide the highest quality of care, service and innovative technology for us all."

At Plymouth Crossings Assisted Living, I have the responsibility to insure the health and well-being of my residents. Partnering with Beth Israel Deaconess - Plymouth, our patients and their families benefit by all the exceptional services the Hospital has to offer, including Jordan’s new behavioral health center for our seniors in need of intervention.

On a personal note, I attribute Beth Israel Deaconess - Plymouth with saving my son’s life. Over Christmas 2004, Brendon developed bizarre neurological symptoms. Within 1/2 hour, Jordan’s Emergency Department staff diagnosed Guillan- Barre Syndrome. That care led to early treatment and after six weeks in ICU, he fully recovered from this life-threatening disease. Thank you Beth Israel Deaconess - Plymouth, from the Downey Family."

It has been my great pleasure to partner with Beth Israel Deaconess - Plymouth for over 20 years, serving 12 on the Hospital Board. I am proud of the "Fortini-Keville Radiation Center" at Jordan, established in memory of my father, who was a cancer patient there. He received excellent care from Dr. Zazzarino, who treated him more like a friend than a patient. Two years ago, I celebrated the joyous occasion of my daughter’s birth at Jordan.
Beth Israel Deaconess - Plymouth is a first-rate facility. As a resident and business owner in Marshfield, I encourage South Shore Companies to join Jordan’s Community Business Partners. It will benefit you and your company and our community."
